Current office title is mailing services supervisor

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My question is I will be retiring soon and my replacement is asking me what would be a correct title since his title now is Special Projects Coordinator, not only will he be handling various mailing projects but also his other responsibilities any ideas?

If he is taking over your position he will get your title that you had. I could be wrong but you can always ask your company or someone in HR.

I think it is a clever way around not compensating that person at the same level you are being compensated. I would think that it would be okay to call him his current title/special mailing supervisor. Possible also that they don't want him as a member of the supervisory staff. What's the deal with the term coordinator. I actually despise that term. Coordination is something that nurses do. I don't get it. Is he coordinating the mail. Why not call him a mail organizer or gatherer. It's just a weird term. Do you agree? You must work for Dolan media?
