I have been with my boyfriend for over a year. I was on the depo injection but cam off last October as we were planning on starting a family. Anyway to cut a long story short we have had a few ups and downs and he got back with an ex and then came back to me. But we finally sorted things out. The first day of my last period was 8th August. The last time I slept with my boyfriend was on 19th August. We then had an argument and split, when I got very drunk and slept with a friend to get back at him. Yes I know not the best thing to do. This happened on the 29th August. I am now on day 32 of cycle and no period has come yet. I normally have a period around 23-28 days. Never normally this long.

I have worked out that if I did conceive then it could have been the 22nd August ( this is what it said on all the baby calendars I have looked up. So can someone please help me.. Is it possible that I could have conceived on the 29th with my friend? I took a test today and it was negative, surely if I had conceived on the 22nd then the test would show positive by now, wouldn't it? Or if it was the 29th when would a test show up? I don't think I should have been that fertile around the 29th, but then again I'm maybe wrong.

If anyone can help me, I'm at my wits end. I really don't know what to do

Well, we can't be sure you even conceived until you get a positive pregnancy test. If you are late (are you?), you will have to continue testing using first morning urine. If you are pregnant, depending on your cycle, you most likely conceived around the 19th.

But, until we get a positive pregnancy test, that point is moot. There are many reasons a period can be late... stress, weight gain or loss are just 2 examples.
