Hey,

We used to have excellent water pressure in our shower, we had some tennants living in this apartment and now the shower seems to be at have throttle... the rest of the apartment still has excellent pressure... any ideas? I have examined the actual shower head and it appears clean, no grit in the openings... thanks

Hi JB, what brand of shower valve do you have? In any case you will need to shut the water off to take out the stem and flush the lines out. And clean the stem. Once you have the stem out turn the water on for a few seconds to flush out any debre in the lines. Then put the stem back in and try it out. Let us know what happens, goodluck ---Zeke---

Hello, if you still have problems with pressure then you will need to replace the stem, moens seem to have that problem regularly, not to say that moen is not a good faucet but that it's a common problem when it does loose pressure. Thanks ----zeke----

Remove the shower head (again) and open the valve and tell what kind of flow you have out of the shower arm with out the shower head attached.
