Are you currently in school? If so participate in band, chorus, and plays. If not, have you tried out for "America's Got Talent" or "American Idol"? Karaoke bars are a good way to get comfortable in front of a crowd. You can promote your services as an artist to local bars, clubs, cafes, and such for live performances.

Also, have you created an Artist Myspace? Cause that might be a good way to get your voice out there.

Go to MySpace (http://www.myspace.com) and create a profile, and in that process it gives you the option of what sort of profile you want, select "artist profile", and you can upload your music there. Add tons of people, and spread your music!

Hi, monkeylover0218!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

I do note that you have already received some helpful advice here!

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

One of the things that I do for a living is that I'm a professional singer. Would you please let us know how old you are and what experience that you have already had singing, please?

Thanks!

CM that's not the OP, just someone who dropped in to offer his/her two cents.
