I have a Hunter ceiling fan and what I believe is the capacitor has burnt out. I can not read any numbers due to the melting of the plastic but it has four wires: (2) grey, (1) green, and (1) brownish. I believe it is 250V, 5uf, manufactured by Shengye Electric. There is also a two wire, (1) red and (1) white, capacitor iin the housing which is fine. I am looking for a part number or a vendor where I might be able to pick one up.

Try Hunter Fan (http://www.hunterfan.com)

If it is four wires it would be more than just 5uf. But call Hunter, tell them the model of the fan and they should be able to match the capacitor.
