I have a MDG4000BWW Maytag dryer. Igniter lites but the gas doesn't come on. It seems to work first thing in the morning but when the igniter comes on the second time for the next burn cycle it doesn't light. Should the coils have some resistance? The little one doesn't and the big closest to the front dose.

Look at thermostats as well. Upperlimit may not work or main many not pop back on
