My boyfriend had someone steal his totally restored 55 Chevy in order to collect the insurance money. I knew NOTHING about any of this plan. He took the money and put it into an account in his name only. He was charged with insurance fraud and filing a false police report both felonies. He managed to get out of the insurance fraud but still got a felony false police report. The police found that I knew nothing and had no part of it. Well now the insurance company wants their $35,000 back, which I don't blame them but they are coming after me as well because my name is on the policy. How can I get these guys off my back beings I did no wrong and never seen a dime of this money (glad I didn't). What can I do? HELP PLEASE

For $35,000 that insurance company is going to come after anyone they can. The fact your name was on the policy means quite a lot to them regardless if you knew anything about the fraud or that you financially benefited from the fraud. Would strongly suggest you retain an attorney on this as you will need one.

You hire an attorney, don't say another word to the insurance company, refer them to the attorney for any and all comments or answers.
