I am looking to install auxiliary back-up lighint on my truck. I would like it set up in this fashion... Auromatically comes on in reverse while also being able to manually turn them on from the cab with a toggle switch for work lights. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram with the trailer tow package.

Not knowing whether this question has legal implications, it might be best to have the following mode of operation using a lighted DPDT center off (ON-OFF-ON) switch.
Center - AUX lights off, indicator off
UP - Aux lights on, indicator on
Down - Aux lights controlled by brake switch, indicator on
You have to decide wheter this should be on the ACC circuit or on continuously. You also have to know the ratings of the brake switch or towing package and the current draw of the aux lights.
If you don't know, then an automotive relay needs to be thrown into the mix and a separate power feed run.
Just thoughts.
