Ok so I would like to know where I could get information about a house maybe the history behind a home like who lived there before who built it and how long its been unocupied... I tried to Google the address but it didn't give me much... maybe the library?? What section?

The County you live in has property records that you are allowed to see. Sometimes you can obtain this information on their website, or you may have to go there. They will give you tax rates, previous owners and how much the house sold for each time it changed owners. What County and state do you live in?

Search to see if your town/city etc has a historical society.
If you have any houses near you that have an official plaque stating the year built, then chances are, you have historical records kept somewhere.
