The system I am using is Windows Vista Home Premium. I can't get rid of the spyware "PC MightyMax 2007". This is not in my "Programs" folder so I can not uninstall it. It is attached to my "Startup" list. I have deselected this item, but is there any way I can get rid of it altogether. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but at the same time as this appeared on my computer I lost all my items in my Start Menu. The message I got was that they are unavailable and have been renamed or removed. Also these missing items are no longer in "All Programs" or my "Programs" folder. Simple things like the "Welcome Centre" and "Windows Media Centre" are no longer available. .
