Sounds like heartburn or perhaps reflux. May even be an ulcer. Try taking some tums or rolaids. If you feel very unconfortable, please consult with your doctor

Could very well be an ulcer. Most of them are caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori (commonly referred to as H. Pylori for short) and if that is the case, it's easily cured with antibiotics. They can do a simple blood draw to test for it. I would go to the doctor. Even if it's not an ulcer, he/she can prescribe better medications for the pain/burning than you can get over the counter, and if it is an ulcer you want to catch it ASAP. A lot of people find Tums and/or Rolaids worthless for anything beyond very minor heartburn. The best OTC med out there for that sort of thing is Omeprazole. You might have heard of Prilosec OTC, which is the same thing. It's kind of expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's known as a PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) and works by turning off the pumps in your stomach that produce acid. No acid = no heartburn. It actually used to only be available by prescription and just recently in the last few years became available OTC. Anyway, it would probably work the best until you can get in to see your doctor. Could be a few other things, i.e. gallstones. Hope this helps.
