Hi,
My aunt is looking to refinance her auto loan that she was through Toyota; however, I advised her to go talk to a banker from where she banks and was denied as they advised her that they needed a good social; I am not sure if its true, but I've heard you can still do so w out having a social; is this correct? If so, any type of banks you would suggest? Your help would really be appreciated with any sort of suggestions; thank you.

She doesn't have a valid social security number?

No sir, I do not know how she got on that car loan in the first place; I know she is a co signer but is looking to get loan by herself. As odd as it may sound, they put her on the contract with a foreign id card... anything she could do?

There are lenders who will lend to foreign nationals, but they may charge high rates. You can try using an online loan service to see if you can find a lender.
