Hey everyone, I have this friend and he used to tell me that he had another person or spirit inside of him. My friend could feel the spirit or 'him' as my friend called it and he could talk to 'him'. Sometimes, when my friend got mad or really cold 'he' took over my friends body. When 'he' withdrew back into my friends body, my friend couldn't remember anything that 'he' did. I've seen 'him' come out in person, and it horrifying, I don't know if my friend has any mental disorders that sounds like my story I would appreciate it so much. I worry about him everyday, cause when 'he' comes out he's unbelieveably aggressive and strong. Please help me.

I once read a book called damaged about an abused girl who by the age of 8 had developed 3 different personalities that she took up on a daily basis they apparently reflected personalities that she had known. She was referred to a medical care home where she got the treatment she needed. However I must stress that this little girl had a very rare and extreme case but I would suggest maybe speaking to a professional or maybe looking on the internet to question the symptoms and if possible speak to his family or him directly do be cautious that if he has already shown aggression once then he can and will show it again if there is a problem.

Hope this helps I am not trained in this field but what you have said just reminded me of the book.

Get him checked out by a doctor or a counslelor. He really could have a multiple personality disorder. Have you ever seen the movie SYBIL? I recommend watching this. You can see if this is what your friend has. Sybil has around 15 different personalities and can change, acting dramatically different. It's a true story.
Also, do make him see someone, they can tell what he ahs properly.

Your friend's behavior is well outside the norm. this is a very serious problem that needs to be taken very seriously. He could potentially put himself and/or others in grave danger. This needs to be handled by a qualified professional ASAP.
