My shower handle broke off from its pin, and I cannot remove the cartridge. I think the reason I cannot remove the cartridge is because I can't loosen the portin of the handle the broke off (the pin). Here is a pic:

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What's the brand name of your shower valve?
Would it be possible to drill out the center piece and remove the cartridge that way? Let me know. Tom

It's a Moen. I think I am goignto need to drill out the old stem because withotu doing so, I cannot remove the plastic cartridge
