It's a crank up window. It's not rolling all the way up, once it gets to the top it won't roll all the way up, the crank stops controlling the window and just started making clicking noises. It's the driver's side window. Is this something that I could easily fix or should I spend 100's at a automotive place?

Find a auto body guy or somebody that knows how to fix cars and tell them you will give them like $30. IF they fix it right.
It should be something simple but you need somebody that knows how to take the panel off and fix it right.

I don't know anyone that knows anything about cars.

It's the window regulator. Think of it like a row of teeth shaped in a half moon. The handle crank is the gear that meshes with those teeth.
At the top of that half moon shape, there are several missing teeth, mostly from all the times rolled up and tugging on them when the window reaches the top.
That's the clicking sound you hear.
So, I hope you get the picture. Looks like a couple hundred repair from this end.

Holy heck. Seriously? I don't have that sort of money. Lovely. I'm excited now!
