For the past couple of days I've been experiencing a strange achey sort of feeling in my lower arm. To describe it best, I'd say if felt like when you've fallen asleep on your arm or if you apply pressure to the artery. I googled my symptoms and the two things mentioned were a blood clot or ischemia. (I don't even know what the latter is)
Anyone got any ideas?

Ischemia is inadequate flow of blood to a particular area in your body. As you say, maybe, explain my way. When I fall asleep with my arm up over my head, I experience tingling, achy dead feeling in my arm until I bring it down to a level where the blood can flow down again. I don't worry about this because it is normal and has been happening to me for many years.
Sometimes this condition can signify an artery blockage or low blood pressure.
Either way, a visit to your doctor and a test will determine either way.
It would help if you could tell us how old you are.
Don't worry about this. Just get a physical at your doctor and go from there. :)

Okay, first hurdle, you aren't out of the forest yet. Is this your right arm or left arm. Don't forget, left side is heart side and low blood pressure is a potentially serious condition. So, please get to your doctor for a check up ! Age makes no difference and if you know anything about your genetic make up, or family history, that could be a warning sign of cardiac problems. If not, then its okay. I always look ahead and explore all possibilities.
Bear in mind, this is not a diagnosis, but an informed opinion only.
