Thanks for offering to recommend a ceiling fan. I'm picky about the way it looks. I want a white, plain, streamlined look. I don't like the vent holes. My husband wants lights on them. Can you recommend a small, white, plain, good quality fan with a dome light? I don't like the lights that stick out or the round lights. I have to pick out 3 more fans for the smaller bedrooms in our house.

The only design I like that I've seen online is the Minka Aire Concept I in a 44 inch.

MinkaAire Concept I 44 Contemporary 44 Inch Span Indoor Ceiling Fan from the Concept Collection (http://www.ventingdirect.com/index.cfm/page/product:display/productId/Concept%20I%2044/manufacturer/MinkaAire)

I would even go smaller. The price seems OK at $215 but I have no idea if it's a good quality fan/motor. I couldn't find any reviews. I took me forever to find a website that listed the 153 x 15mm motor but I don't know what that means. It's UL listed and has a 14 degree pitch so that's good. The Minka Aire website was down.

We already bought a white Casablanca Stealth for the master bedroom. It looks OK but it's too big. It looks "chunky". The light bothers me because it's too low and it shines directly in the eye. Our ceilings are only 8 feet high. I'm already hearing a buzz when it is on high and the room is quiet. I also hate the fact that I can't change the speed of the fan without it making an annoying beep. I often want to change the speed while my husband is sleeping. The reviews online for the Casablanca were great. The quality seems obvious. They don't make smaller fans.

Thanks so much!

Casablanca does make smaller fans. Finding something light adaptable, small, with no vent holes will be difficult. Let me look and get right back to you.
