Hello I purchased a house last year and they made my driveway from Asphalt. Since March it has been cracking and I contacted the builders since I was under warranty for a year. They never got back in touch after several attempts. Now I am taking them to court so I can get my asphalt fixed do anyone know the laws regulating the specifications for asphalt on a private driveway. I am looking for laws specific to Georgia. Thanks

The only possibility would be the Georgia DOT. Portions of driveways are frequently disturbed when roads are widened or other reasons. They would hae a driveway mix for those instances, but you would need a reference to that spec in your contract. The building code may have some standards but you will still have to prove they didn't meet whatever spec you use.
If it is alligator cracking (see link) it is almost always caused by an inadequate foundation.
Other causes (if not alligator) could be too cold when placed or a bad mix.
I think you need some lab tests and/or an expert to testify or you will lose.
The builder will say heavy loads were placed on the driveway beyond his control.
