Hello Guys,

My name is linksys2000. I am new to Ask Me Help Desk. I find this forum extremely informative and exciting! Thanks for providing in depth information on various topics and taking the time to keep everyone informed.

I am very interested in skin lightening. However, after many endless hours performing time consuming research, I am stumped. Which product works best? What are the side effects, and where are the purchasing sites?

I have been using "Clear Essence Medicated Fade Cream" off and on for approx 3 months, the results are slow. The nights are very uncomfortable due to inability to lay on the side of my face because of the piles of cold cream.

Here are a few pictures of what I look like now, and what results I can only wish to achieve. Are there any suggestions? Sorry guys, only interested in responses in references to these particular skin products; Meladerm, Benoquin (Monobenzone), Makari, and Cystine Body Bleach.

Happy Faces! :)

Could this objective be met? Here's a pic.

Body Bleach is a total waste of money, smells awful and to date , as far as I know, No one has actually ever said that it is highly effective.

Melederm is a great moisturiser in my opinion but couldn't really see any results when I tried it myself. I know some people have found it to be OK though.

Makari, out of all the creams you mentioned, apart form mono, I have found to be the most effective, personally. Only problem is it can cause breakouts even for someone like me, who never gets spots. You have to try and avoid the caviar cream, which I think is the most aggravating.

I combatted the spots by including Retin A in my skin care regime, but I try not to use makari every day. It's a shame that this cream comes with this effect, as it is one of the best out there. I know some people have had absolutely no problem using makari, so if you do choose it, hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones.

Thanks MAHARANI! I have made several attempts to reach the customer service department, with Body Bleach. They are terrible! There's absolutely no telephone number for phone inquiries such as tech support, general questions, and or telephone ordering.

I have opted to forget this option. For heavens sake, it takes 4 days to receive a response to a email, of which one may only ask questions.

Perhaps, someone else may have a better chance at receiving a response...

Thanks again Maharani! I just ordered a "free trial" of the Makari:confused: , which is available on their official web site. I have tried so many different products that work, however very slowly.

For example, over the duration of the past 3/5 months, I have tried the "Clear Essence Medicated Fade Cream," which works wonders, very slowly. So, recently, there was a purchase made for the purpose of skin lightening, moisture, and to even unsightly skin discolorations. Not over dry or make my face look pale and lifeless.

So, I have purchased "True n Tone Soap," and "SivoClair Lightening Cream" both of which were purchased at a local African store. After using the soap, my face is very light and my pores are open. However, afterwards, my skin becomes very dry. I have decided to incorporate a Skin Moisture Mask in hopes of preventing this occurrence.

Thanks for your response. Oh, by the way....what were your experiences of the "Makari" creams?

Thank you RedDiamond for your response. I just purchased some new products (refer to Maharanni's message response above for details such as names, etc) in hopes that they work.

My objective is not to receive "quick" results, rather healthy. This is most important to me.;)

Thank you again.

Hello ladies
I have used the"Clear Essence Medicated Fade Cream and yes it is slow to work, the lotion is too thick and dosen't spread well. I was't impressed at all.

RedDiamond: My experience with it probably lighten me about 1 to 2 shades, that not much too me. I don't know if you remember when I told you my true color was about the color of Ruby(as an adult) for the Cosby Show, well I my husband and I was talking one day and I said that was my color and he damn near curse me out! He said I was way lighter and then I ask my mom, dad, and brothers and they agreed with my husband. But I look in the mirror Diamond and just can't see what they mean. What wrong with me?

Linksys200: You are very pretty, I would like to be you color. I agree with Diamond, You are very close to you goal. What is you original color? If you don't mind me asking.
