I need to look inside of my dryer to find out why it sounds like something is rubbing up against the barrel & flipping the breaker. How do you get inside the back of a Fridgidaire dryer?
Thank you!:o

Hello Corinna72
To get between the drum and drumwall is near impossible, even for a well trained repair person !
Check if there may be another cause to this problem :
- open up the rear cover
- make a drawing how the belt is running between motor and wheel.
- remove belt
- make sure the drum is empty
- turn the drumwheel by hand and listen if you hear any noise.
- is it sound coming from the drum or from the drum bearing?
- noise may come from the tefal/felt gliders or the drum rollers at the front of the drum (different dryers use different methods to keep the drum centered)
Please report your findings back here, to allow further advice !
