At 8 AM - lowfat yogurt.
11 AM - 10 baby carrots
2 PM - 1/2 cup of fresh fruit
5 PM - Salad and grilled chicken with steamed broccoli
8 PM - lowfat yogurt or banana or fresh fruit
Water everyday too. Lots of water.
45 Minutes walking 3.9 MPH (which comes out to 2.93 miles about). I'm a 19 year old female, 5'7", about 170 pounds. Want to get down to 135 or so.
Does a diet like this sound healthy to lose weight as fast as possible in a safe way?

You will want a balanced diet not a crash diet

No. You are not eating enough. You need more protein. You body will go into starvation response. Eat more small meals (6) through the day.

Can you give me an example of a diet that would not be considered a 'crash diet'? Or what to eat as six small meals?

Example of my daily diet.
1/2 oat meal one small banana.
2 oz of cheese 1/2 grapes
1 small can chicken, 1 tablespoon mayo with green onion, chickpeas.
1small nonfat yogurt
1 small chicken breast vegies 1/2 baked potato.
1 protein bar.
This is an example of what I eat. It may not be right for you. You can ask your doc for a referral to a dietician.

The best diets for weight control are in Muscle and Fitness Mag. Walking and stretching with pilates will definitely get you there, looking good and feeling well. Buff is beautiful. Don't forget a good vitamin supplement and vary your diet. Count calories and good luck. I know you can look and feel great. Takes a little time but these are lifestyle changes right?
