Your Yellow wire should have been on Y on the new thermostat. White wire to W2 with a jump to E. If it's a newer system you may have just blown a simple automotive fuse on the control board in the furnace. If it's a real old system you may have to replace the transformer. Turn power off to system before replacing thermostat if not you will pop the transformer or fuse every time.
