the average daily high tempretures recorded at a weather station is 80f during July. For a sample of six consective days in July, the difference between the recorded high and this average high were: -10 -8 -2 6 4 10

1. compute for this dataset the average difference and standard deviation.

average difference= 0
standard deviation=8

2. calculate the actual recorded tempretures on these six days: dataset b

70 72 78 86 84 90

3.calculate the average and standard deviation for dataset b

average defiation=80
standard defiation=8

4compare and discuss the standard deviations obtained for dataset a and b

average for b was stated in the question. B was obtained by adding average to average difference

Calculations are correct, although you have a typo - "average defiation" in 3. Also, I think they're looking for a reason why the standard deviation for the two datasets is the same - it's not a coincidence.
