General Controls T-80 thermostat is not working. Is there a replacement I can use ?

Is it a low voltage style thermostat?
Does it control both heat and air?
How many wires feeds the thermostat?
Type of equipment it is used on?

It can probably be replaced but since I have no listing on that model number it has to very old. That is the reason for the questions above.

It's a two wires feeds low voltage style home thermostat (24VAC) that controls only heat. Thanks...

A Honeywell T-87 or other 24 volt heat only thermostat should work.

It is a low voltage style thermostat. It controls heater only. It has (2) wires. It is used on wall mount heater.

If it is a wall mounted heater, you could have a millivolt system. I suggest a battery powered thermostat. Nearly all will work with millivolt systems.
