Hi there,

I have just finished studying AS Chemistry (and AS maths) and after learning about predicting bond angles, I asked, how can you work out the angles mathematically, but I was not told, nor have I pursued it further.
I am not sure how complicated the maths is behind it, but I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

The bond angles are dependent on the shape of that particulr molecule. If we able to know about the shape then we can easily predict the bond angles. But in some cases it may also differ because of some external or internal physical forces.
