I am an ex-felon. And I really mean EX-felon. I am desperate to put my life back together and can't seem to find any information about how to go about getting grants and/or loans in order to go back to school (college).

Please don't be put off. I am not a violent person. I have no sex-related offense. I was convicted of a drug crime.


I want so bad to be able to be a productive citizen again but it seems like everywhere I turn I can get no help.

Most federal money for college is banned from receiving money if they did drug crimes in fact you may have more luck if it was a violent crime or a sex crime to get federal money.

But you want to go and work with the schools finical aid department
