Hello!
We had a huge thunder yesterday afternoon and after that my both A/c quit working.
I had noticed that the circuit breaker for furnace 2 in the garage had tripped and which I reset.
On #1 a/c
On my thermostat which is honeywell T8001, I see that the * comes on and kicks the units outside but the atic blower does not start. And I had noticed that because of that there was icing in the atic blower, so I turned off the compressor outside.

On ac #2

Neither the outside unit turns on nor the blower in the atic. This one had the circuit breaker tripped in the garage pannel, which I reset. On the display of the thermostat, when I tun it to cool, the display starts to fade and eventually disappear.

I have kids and a sick mother at home with no air and a temprature of 85 degrees inside.

Any help will be appreciated

Spend the bucks and call someone local, with sick familey you need to get it fixed asap,,

You`ve done the most obvious checked the breakers,I`d say the storm has done more damage than you have ability to fix right away

Sounds like lightning may have run into the electrical circuit and damaged your furnace blower motor or control board, you will need an expert to trouble shoot your systems and take it from there. If your equipment is not to old it may be in warranty, Good luck, Mike
