I am looking into adoption but I don't know where to start. I need to know the requirements and everything I need to do to prepare for adopting a child, can someone please help? :(

The requirements for private, state, and other types of adoptions vary. The first start would be with the agency you wish to adopt from, or discussoin with an attorney if you want to do a private one.

Go to Adoption.Org, they have loads of information and you can even find information specific to your state or which ever state you want to adopt from. We adopted from Ohio and I would say they have good adoption laws. Email me if you want to chat further.
