I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible with the 2.7 V6 and I am getting the OBD error code P0456. Is there anything that I can check out to fix this error?

That means there is a vacuum leak. Most commonly its because your gas cap is not tight enough. But, could be another part of the EVAP system.

P0456 is the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for a large leak in the evaporative emissions system.
First thing to check is for a poorly installed fuel fill cap. If you have recently filled up, you should turn the cap until you hear three clicks.
If that is likely to be the cause, you can simply keep driving and the light will stop coming on without doing anything. Or you can find a shop that can turn it off for you.
If, however, you didn't find a poor fit at the gas cap, you will need to have the evap system diagnosed first hand to determine what has actually failed.
