I'm 28 years old and stopped taking birth control in June. My last "birth control period" was June 15th. My next cycle was a longer cycle (38 days) and a completely normal period on July 22nd. I've heard that it is normal to have a longer cycle the first month you are off birth control. Now this month on July 16th on day 26 of my cycle I started light spotting of pink/brownish blood. Its day four of this now. Does the spotting in place of a period mean I am not ovulating? My husband and I are hoping ot become pregnant soon.
