A bit complicated here. Here goes.
1)During the last 5 years I loaned in total approx. $42,000.00 to 2 friends (2 living together as common law) I hold 2 bank drafts 1 for $9,500. The other for $5,000. And approx. 29,000. At different times in cash. And over 7,000. On my credit card, that they have trouble making monthly payments.

2)one of the two used my cell phone and was paying some of the bills but now rang up approx. $2200.00 then she moved the number to another cell phone provider, and left me stuck with the 2200.00 bill 95% of phone calls were related to her work. Bell Canada is after my butt to pay. She said she would pay when she had the money.

They both said they would pay eventually, someday, but now are avoiding me big time. I am getting tired of their excuses.

Please, what is my recourse, what can I do. One suggestion from Bell Canada is that I press fraud charges and identity theft.

Someone else suggested I report the phone charges (fraud) to the real estate board where she works and let them take action on their side.

In a word, yes.

Nothing is complicated here. You kept dishing out the money and they happily took it. You are a sucker with a capital S. Report her at once for her shoddy financial practices as anyone with a real estate license is not supposed to do such things as not pay their bills. Your friends(?) need to get paying jobs and pay you back.

Would suggest that you seek an attorney's help in this matter immediately and sue them for everything they own. You are not the Bank of America, or are you to keep dishing out money to these two deadbeats? Regardless of what kind of sob stories they come up with, tell them to tell the stories to your attorney and the Judge. You sound as if you have enough paper proof of these debts to be more than successful in Court.
