I have an alliance genie garage door opener ( Model # 600), which holds two light bulbs, when operating the garage door up and down niether light bulb will come on. I removed the exterior housing from the unit and checked all wiring connections everything seems to be OK? What do I look for next?

A burnt out bulb.

Check your owner's manual. There is probably a option or setting to prevent the lights from coming on. If not, and both bulbs are good then there is probably a fault in the circuit board of the opener.
