Me and my husband have been trying to conceive and have been using the ovulation test kits for a few months now. My dr has me on clomid and I took my last pill 7 days ago on the second month. The tests have always been clearly negative but today I tested with first response brand and the test line was a lot darker than the control line. I took another test with the Answer brand and it showed negative. I've heard of false negatives but is it possible to show a false positive or am I ovulating?

Ovulation tests are only predictors, they are not foolproof.
