Hey! I have an almost year old chihuahua who nips more then wanted and can be aggressive when he has something in his mouth that I try to get out that could hurt him! He starts growling and goes for my hand when I try to get it out!! How can this be stopped!

Stay calm and assertive a sharp no should do. Please remember that even though this dog is small it can still cause harm and therefore like big dogs needs boundaries, limitations and exercise. Think of it this way don't let your dog do anything that you wouldn't let a 95 pound german shepherd do(aggression wise).

Small dogs, and I have one, are frequently disciplined less than large dogs because it's easier to just pick them up. Chihuahuas tend to have alpha personalities, they want to run your household.
You, the human are the leader in your house. What you say goes! Lean over the dog and tell him no in a stern voice. Nipping and biting, showing aggression is not okay. Tell him no whenever he tries to make the rules.
You being the alpha, the leader will make your dog feel secure. At first he will try to assert himself. Just be consistent and don't forget to reward his good behavior.
