I filed for divorce from husband 1 1/2 yrs ago, very ugly divorce and still pending. He is normally fighting me for every minute of time with our 3 children that he can get. He usually calls a few times a week. (They live with me) He missed his last visitation and now hasn't had contact with the kids in 20 days. He still emails me regarding legal and parental issues. What is up with him? I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

If it's been an ugly divorce so far, maybe he's just taking a vacation from being nasty. Is there any sort of hearing coming up soon that you are aware of?

New girlfriend and he is tired of fighting ?

He has someone new in his life, he needs to remember he is still a " dad" though
