LOVE VS LUV...
My b/f always use to write he "loves" me.. now recently he uses the word "luv"
I wondered if the spelling took away for the words emotional meaning?
Its funny how this affects me, same sounding word; yet, the intentional misspelling of the word makes it sore to my eyes and heart.
So I ask.. what is the difference between love and love? Or is there is a difference (besides the obvious misspelling)
Thanks to all how respond :)

I think you're over thinking this, but if you're really questioning your boyfriends love for you why don't you talk to him.? Communication is key to a healthy relationship..

Thanks for your input :) haha you may be rite
I just thought it was odd to misspelling an endearing word. Esp if its been used through the duration of there being an "US" and before I decided to talk to him about his new "spelling technique" I figure I just read some ppls views on what love means to them. And rather or not the spelling of word made any difference

Honestly I spell it "luv" when I say it to a friend.. and I don't want them to think I love love them.. but if it's a boyfriend girlfriend thing maybe he's just abrieviating it, because it's faster to type that I don't know really just ask him

The only way you will know if he means anything by that is to ask him & talk it out.
Have you noticed anything that might be making you feel his feelings have changed? If not, it may just be something he's doing without thinking anything about it. If it bothers you, ask him to please spell it out for you because otherwise you feel more like a friend than his lover.
