I have a compaq presario c700 and have just installed a new windows xp professional but I seem to cannot get drivers for this on the internet even on the compaq website which I had always trusted.PLEASE HELP

What drivers do you specifically need?

Look underneath your laptop and get the EXACT model number... like c700em or something similar. The Compaq website looks complete to me.

Also, look in your Device Manager and post here the complete model # of your sound device.
