Maybe the thing that we use to... how we say that? In french 'raper'. We can do that to carrots, cucumber. It's sort of 'cutting' but the carrot or cucumber gets out as long threads. Oh, I can't get that word!!

I think I know... perhaps the underside of an iron (ironing clothes device I mean). This quite ressembles that in my house.

I was thinking and going to say iron but I looked at the bottom of the irons I have and they were different shaped holes and NOT even talking about the build up :(
