I have a 1992 Honda Accord and I recently went to start it the other day & it would not start. I am almost positive I didn't leave anything on to cause a dead battery. However the car is old with a lot of miles and I recently bought it; not knowing how long it has been since the battery has been changed. It looked very corroded so I cleaned the terminals but still no start. I heard a clicking time once but only for a few seconds. Then I never heard it again. I was also actually having bad acceleration problems and once I got a jump start, my car took off! I don't know if this has anything to do with what the problem is. Once jump started, the car started right away but after it was turned off it would not start back up and I heard no noise. Can anyone help me please? :confused:

Clearly sounds like you need a new battery.
