I just found out that I have a 25 year old half brother.My mother told me and is asking for my help .we need help finding him I just don't know where to start and I need sum help.

Well, when and where was he given up for adoption? Through an agency? Any details would help you out!

Contact the adoption agency, the courthouse in the county the adoption took place, and register on reunion boards.

25 years ago is before open adoptions, (or at the VERY beginning of them), so you may find that you can't actually find anyone because the records are sealed.

It is true that adoption records from 25 yrs. Ago are sealed, however, if your half brother has been looking for you also, the agency he was adopted through will take his current info if he has contacted them... so if you call they may be able to hook you up with him..
