Hi all, I'm 20 years old and came off the pill (yasminelle) around may/june. I've a long term partner and we always use condoms as contraception. I had my last period around July 8th and have not had one since. I have tried a pregnancy test but it was negative? I really don't know what to do or where else to look for information?. my periods always ran a day or two late pill or no pill now I think because I'm stressing I may be delaying them more! I'm so confused.. has anyone got any advice?

You may be right. The stress will delay your period... also may even make you miss it completely. Also, it may be that your body's slowly adjusting to the hormone levels from coming off the pill.

Did you take the pregnancy test using morning urine? If not, it's preferable that you do use morning urine, and also, it's best to use a two-pack to negate false tests.

I have tried two tests, one mid day and another first thing in the morning. Both were negative. Should I go to the doctor?

Hi.. I stopped taking the pill in June. Since then my period in July was late by a week and my period this month has not come. My partner and I have been using condoms and none have ripped or spilt. We have always been safe but I am worrying now as my period this month is over 2 weeks late. I have tried 2 home pregnancy tests and they were both negative. I have been stressing about it, and I know that isn't helping but I just don't understand what's happening! The pill I was on was called yasminelle... has anyone got any advice? Please..
