Hello everyone I'm new to this so may get things a little wrong. Anyway a good few years ago at least 5 when I was having a difficult time I used to see a little girl running across my room she looked a little like my daughter but bit younger she had a cheeky grin she ran to the other room and looked like she was going to hide under the cot when I looked she had gone. Now lately I have been house hunting and in one house I felt vibes and I asked if the person who used to live there had died and the estate agent said it was a probate house, and yesterday I was looking at another house and I felt as if I was intruding it was a really strong feeling I asked the estate agent and she said he was a very old man and he had been put in to a care home. Does any of this mean anything? Oh and I'm from the uk, thank s

Hello, kelly1977!

I don't really have an explanation for the little girl that you saw. But, concerning the things that you have felt in the homes, you might have some sort of extra-intuitive, extra-sensory or even cognitive ability that would enable you to sense certain things. I'm not normally one to admit to believing in such things, but I have had enough experiences in my life where things have happened or that I have sensed without knowing anything physical about an event, that I cannot deny the possible existence of such abilities. I still do like to look for any rational and logical explanation as to why something might be occurring, though.

I would follow your senses and not decide on a house until it felt right. Keep following the feelings you are getting. These houses are haunted or have some kind of negative energy that is warning you.

Yes, I agree that trusting your instincts or that "inner voice" is best when making decisions. I also agree, that you really could be picking up on some negative energy and would like to add, other's thoughts about the homes.

I'm not really trying to disagree, but I don't know that I would go so far as to say just yet, that the homes are haunted. But, it could be that whoever has owned them in the past hasn't yet arrived at any closure about them in their own lives. Being haunted, to me, connotes some sort of negative vibes or energy being present. But, that is just my opinion. I would prefer to say that a place has a "presence" in it if there really isn't anything negative going on.

Sometimes, when I am playing the piano in my own, very old home, there is the scent of a woman's perfume that is not my mothers. I know that the elderly woman who had lived in my home, loved the sound of the piano! I also know and "feel" that she had closure concerning this home because her son took a long time to sell it and wanted to make sure that it was sold to just the right person. I also know that she and her husband lived in this home for many decades.

I have no problem with the "presence" or maybe even "essence" of that deceased person being in my home...

It makes it pretty interesting here.. :)

Presence is a good word I just used haunted as a catch all phrase since I am not sure how much or how little the presence or the whatever is or even what it is.

Thanks, and I did figure that that's what you meant, NOhelp4u! But, I also thought that some sort of explanation of terminologies used might be helpful because other's might have a "knee jerk" reaction when places are mentioned as possibly being "haunted".
