Hi, I was convicted of a misdemeanor gun possession in CA, it was my first offense and I don't have anything else on my record. I completed community service but I didn't pay the fines because I can't find a job, it was due 3 months ago is this a violation of my probation,
Can the PD help me if I get one? Can they give me the whole year on my suspended sentence? Should I try to find a job and just show up with the money, I have been going to
School? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's a violation of your probation and you can be revoked.
Can the PO help you find a job? No.
Yes, if you do not meet the terms of your probation you can either be sentenced to a jail term or they can give you another chance. They are not going to care very much that instead of working and paying the fines you went to school.
You received probation instead of jail and probation came with certain terms and obligations. Yes, I'd get a job as quickly as possible and pay the fines before you get called back into Court.
