I feel like this is a stupid question but one day while I was preparing for church, I had just noticed that my shoes didn't match, they needed to be just a shade darker, but since they were so cute, I decided to wear them anyway. While I was putting Vaseline on my feet, some of it got on the shoes, and it instantly made them darker, in fact the perfect color for my outfit! So I rubbed the Vaseline all over my shoes, well, now I want it back in the regular color, so I was wondering if you can put Heels in a Washing Machine (I know you can put tennis shoes in there), and if I do, do you think the Vaseline will come off? There's nothing on the shoes that says how to wash them, and there's no strings or anything that might come off.

I didn't know what section to put this in, so if you feel like I should move it somewhere else, feel free to let me know.

I doubt putting them in the washing machine would get the vaseline out. You need to take them to a dry cleaners or somewhere professional.
Vaseline is oiled based so water would just make them darker if anything.

What kind of shoe are they? Most heels are to be hand washed... I have so many shoes its terrible but I love then and just like shirts with writing or a design that's like plastic writing that feels sticky after you dry it (I think its called seaclent) the same thing will happen to heel.
I highly think that it will take a while to get the vaseline off you shoes.. BUT Don't PUT THEM IN THE WASHER.

OK, thanks everyone to who answered, I guess I'll take them to dry cleaners. The shoes are Predictions, they are the cutest thing and if something happened to them, I would cry. But thinking about it now, I kind of like this color...
