My mother received a beautiful Noritake Vase from her father when she was born in 1919, and she is curious as to its worth. It is in perfect condition. Any ideas? Thanks!

Does it look like any of those that you will find on pages of the following search?

Hand painted "Noritake" Vase 1919 - Google Image Search (http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&q=Hand+painted+%22Noritake%22+Vase+1919)

If so, which one, please?

Thanks!

Thank you for your response. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of Noritake vases. After looking them over, I cannot find one that bears a very close resemblance to the one my mother owns. It is a long necked vase, 9 inches tall, painted black and light brown (tan) on the neck, and with a wide body, painted with a big yellow and small pink colored flowers and green leaves. Everyone who sees it remarks on its beauty, saying they have never seen anything quite like it. That may be because they are not collectors. Because I am not a collector myself, I am curious as to whether this vase is "a dime a dozen" or something less common. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Neither can I!! What does that mean? It is the most beautiful scene of a Japanese island I have EVER seen. I think I'd LOVE to talk to your mother...
