I have a Toro 55cm recycler, and recently the traction has become weaker, and I end up almost having to push the mower. The engine speed remains constant so I thought the drive belt had stretched. I've replaced the belt, and fitted a new blade to no avail, and still have to half push the machine. What can I do next?

Remove the blade and belt guide, remove rear wheels, traction cable and drive differential, remove old belt thread in new one and reverse procedure. Quite straightforward

Check the belt pulley on the motor. The set screw may need to be tightened. Hope this is some help.
