Hi
Im a 39yr old male 190 pounds and 5'11. My medications are Welbutron and efexor. For the past month or so I have notice that I'm sweating all the time, example. I vacumed the carpet about 30 minutes ago and I'm completely drenched. My resting heart rate is 74bpm. Any ideas
What this is all about.
Thanks

Have you spoken to your doctors, it could be a side affect of the meds - find out.
However, it could be just a common problem known as axillary hyperhidrosis, meaning you sweat profusely.
I have personally tried all different types of antiperspirant, nothing works. One day I was browsing cvs (a local drugstore) and came upon a product called "Certain Dri". I bought it hoping it would work.
Well, it did - and I have been using it ever since. I mean, I used to sweat so bad id sweat in the winter! But since I'm a female, that is socially 10times more repulsive.
Its not a deodorant, so you'd still have to use that, but your pits will smell great and be dry.
You use it every night before bed, until you start to notice the difference, then every other night. I have found that it makes you so dry that your pits start to itch, but hey id rather have itchy pits lol then sweaty ones.
I'm pretty sure certain dri has a website if your local drugstore doesn't have it.
Another solution would be botox - I'm serious, it's a relatively common procedure, and not that expensive, as the results last six months to a year.
Let us know what works, good luck

Guess I wasn't specific, sorry about that. My pits aren't the problem I sweat from my hips up. It get bad enough that the sweat that drips down myself soaks my pants

If you sweat profusely from the head and back when resting, that is an indication of anxiety, primarily, if you are looking for an emotional cause. Whenever I suffered from extreme anxiety, I had a lot of persperation.
I think you would do better if you got down to 175 lbs by increasing your exercise and eating about 1500-1800 calories a day. You would feel a lot better, and your confidence would increase.
Best wishes, :)
