Can you get a passport if you have an outstanding felony warrant? Can you fly within the U.S. if you have a felony warrant? What about internationally?

Why don't you just go down to the police station and turn yourself in? No, you cannot get a passport with an outstanding felony warrant. And no, you can't get on an airplane in the US if you have to go through some sort of ID check as your name will make the computer light up and go boing, boing, we have a winner. Ditto for international - should you even get that far.

Well the police may deliver it, A passport is merely a form of identification, getting the visa to enter the other nation will be a large issue. But no, either getting on or getting off the plane they will detain you.

Hello in:

The government is the one who wants you. If you apply for a passport, you're snitching yourself off and telling them where you are. You shouldn't be surprised if the cops show up at your door.

Oh, don't forget about the wonderful government program called "Renew Your Driver's License in Person" that they hold at your local DMV office every 4 or so years. It will be impossible to still have valid ID such as a driver's license if you don't renew this. And to renew this, it has to be in person. When you present yourself for your new driver's license and have your picture taken and wait for your new driver's license to be given to you, don't be surprised if a police officer presents this to you along with a door prize of a nice pair of bracelets commonly known as handcuffs.
