I have a GFCI circuit in my panel board that all of my outlets near sinks feed to, but the outlets themselves are not GFI outlets (no trip on the outlet). Should they be? Isn't it code to have GFI outlets, or does the GFCI circuit take care of the code requirement?

The GFCI breaker takes care of it. No need to have both.

OK, thanks. I'm switching all of the outlets out and did one of them with a regular outlet then thought about it. It's OK to put the GFI on there anyway isn't it? I'm going to sell it soon, thought it might look good to see the GFI next to the sink. It's only like $2 more for the GFI outlet.

Don't think it is recommended to have GFI outlet on GFCI circuit. To many false trips.
