Occasionally my 1999 Honda Accord V6 won't start. The starter cranks the engine, but the engine fails to start. A timing light indicates that the ignition system is operating, so I assume it's a fuel issue. If left alone for a time, the car will start normally. Once running, there is never any problem.

Go over the main electrical system:
. Check for codes.
. Replace fuel injection relay.
. Replace Ignition Control Module and coil:

. Replace spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor.
90%+ of "crank but won't start situations" are electrical-related, not fuel. I have never seen a bad Honda fuel pump, even though many people mistakenly replace them. Cold solder joints in the fuel injection relay can make it appear to be a fuel-related problem, when it's really electrical.
